INDEPENDENT HOMESTUDY CE PROGRAM
30 Hours of NAADAC/NBCC/CNE Approved Continuing Education Credits

This 30-hour advanced Certification course contains two textbooks, a complete audio hypnosis session to study, and approximately 14 hours of intensive video instruction.

We offer this 30-hour textbook-based CEU course in addition to our 20-hour basic Certification program, for two reasons:

1.) Many hypnosis practitioners desire to receive advanced continuing education training on clinical hypnotherapy (which we encourage, because the more training you have, the better services you will provide), primarily for the reasons stated above in the course descriptions, and to enhance their ICBCH Certification status.

2.) State of Florida licensed professionals must meet a 50-hour training requirement in order to practice "hypnotherapy" for illness, injury or disease, under Florida Statute Regulations.

Once you successfully complete the 20-hour program - and then this 30-hour program:

If you are a Certified Hypnotist (C.Ht.), and have now completed a total of 50-hours of training, you may  advance your ICBCH Certification level to the Certified Professional Hypnotist (C.P.H.) designation.
 
Licensed professionals will have already earned the Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (C.C.H.) recognition and will then receive a new certificate denoting their endorsement of Advanced Certification (C.C.H./A.C.)
 
State of Florida licensed professionals will also have met the 50-hour training requirement for the "hypnotherapy" practice designation. 

Certified Hypnotist (C.Ht.)
This title is reserved for associate members of the ICBCH and is the most basic level of recognition. The requirements for associate membership and certification include completion of our live or homestudy 20-hour certification program. This level of certification is designed for those who practice hypnosis apart from any clinical setting, but have learned the 5-stages of the hypnotic process and use hypnosis primarily to enhance personal life goals and to help people achieve the physical and mental benefits of hypnosis.

Certified Professional Hypnotist (C.P.H.)
This title is for those who intend to or are practicing hypnosis professionally and are already an ICBCH Certified Hypnotist. Requirements for this level of certification include completion of our basic 20-hour certification program, plus an additional 30 hours of ICBCH approved training.  Members of the ICBCH who are certified by another professional organization with substantially similar training requirements may apply for CPH status through reciprocity.

Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (C.C.H.)
In most states the practice of "therapy" or use of the word "therapy" is legally reserved for those with licensure or certification in a mental health or medical related discipline. The ICBCH will award status as a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist only to those who are certified or licensed by a state or recognized national board in healthcare, medical or mental health professions. ICBCH members who complete our 20-hour homestudy or live certification and are licensed or certified by an acceptable organization or state licensing board will be designated as Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists.

ICBCH Diplomate Status
Diplomate status is reserved for those who are ICBCH certified as Clinical Hypnotherapists (CCH) or Professional Hypnotists (CPH) and complete 100 hours of hypnosis instruction through the ICBCH or another recognized provider.

 
PeachTree Professional Education, Inc is approved to provide continuing education credits for this professional development program by NAADAC, NBCC and many other state regulatory boards.  We are an approvioved provider of Nursing CNE by the California Board of Nursing and offer CE hours for a variety of mental health and medical professions. The California Board of Respiratory Therapists accepts California approved Nursing CNE. Many state Respiratory Therapy boards will accept CNE hours approved by a state nursing board. Consult your state board if you have questions regarding the acceptance of CE/CNE hours.

When you place your order, we will ship the course materials, instructions, the Evaluation of Learning Quizzes and the Application for Certification to you via Priority Mail (no signature required and at no extra charge). All course materials are included in the price, and are yours to keep.

Once you have read/watched/listened to all of the course materials, you will complete and return to us the included Evaluation of Learning Quizzes, which ask questions about each individual course component, and the Application for Certification. We will then send your CEU certificates and the Advanced Certification certificate with the appropriate ICBCH designation.

You may work through the program at your own pace. There is an Evaluation of Learning Quiz (T/F and short essay) for each segment of the program, which must be completed and returned to us in order to receive both the specialty certification designation and your Continuing Education credits.
